Not on American Idol – Mariah Carey and Niki Minaj can have at it trying to rescue that show, sans La Lopez – and not even on screen herself. Instead, fresh off of just recently being named one of the world’s most powerful women, JLO is looking to take her ever-growing entertainment empire onto the small screen as well. She’s partnering with ABC to bring the one hour series ‘The Fosters’ to the network in an as of yet undisclosed upcoming season.
The network recently announced they were greenlighting a pilot episode from Jennifer’s Nuyorican production house. The series itself, if it ultimately gets picked up, would feature a multi-ethnic family of foster and biological kids being raised by two moms. Though even if ABC passes on the show, chances are it will still end up on a cable network anyway. MundoFox, Comcast, Mun2 are y’all listening?
After getting the boot from ABC, the series Devious Maids found it’s home on Lifetime. A ver si tiene mejor suerte La Lopez.
