This Friday, August 17, 2012, at 10/9C, MTV will air the independent film Inocente. The film, produced by the same folks behind last year’s La Cosecha, tells the story of a 15-year-old girl, named Inocente – living homeless and undocumented in San Diego with her mother and younger brothers after having suffered from domestic abuse and various other tragedies – as she struggles to overcome the obstacles in her life and pursue her passion for art.
I won’t go on and on about why you should watch it, pero suffice it to say, I had to do my part to spread the word about this important film.
Watch it if you can and let me know what you think.
Here’s the official trailer de una vez:

Thank you for sharing this with us Juan. This just goes to show us that we are all strong as long as we are brave enough to face the world and try. At such a young age teaching many the value of self-worth. I cried a little just with the preview can’t wait to see it complete.
Likewise, thanks for sharing this…reposting on my FB page.
