This week we had the chance to sit down for a virtual conversation with the Houston Health Department about their ongoing efforts to keep the Houston community safe and informed when it comes to the ongoing COVID-19 global pandemic. As of now, they are providing vaccination resources for children ages 5-17 years old as well.
Often for many families, making the decision about vaccinating their children can be a confusing. This is only exacerbated by the amount of misinformation online. For that reason, the Houston Health Department has made it a priority to work directly in all of the city’s various communities to make sure they are informed about how and where to get vaccinated.
Take a listen to our conversation with the Houston Health Department’s own, Porfirio Villarreal below, and let us know if you have any pressing questions you still need answered.
