How does Latin Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter Luis Fonsi celebrate the holidays? Which holiday tradition does the boricua most look forward to each year? What is the one thing he is most grateful for? All this and more, the cantante himself answers on this video interview made possible by St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as a Christmas Special for you, the readers of Juan of Words!
Fonsi was recently honored by St. Jude at their ninth annual FedEx/St. Jude Angels and Stars Gala for his support of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and his contributions to the entertainment industry, and as part of that honor the singer/songwriter participated in a video interview series with St. Jude. This video highlights the questions he answered specifically for me, for you. I really hope you enjoy the video & kudos to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for all of the wonderful work they do around the world!

Great questions, Juan! I got to interview Luis too but I was so nervous and you can barely hear my voice on the video. (I haven’t posted it yet. LOL.)… Wish I had known I could ask him these kinds of questions. Mine were all focused on St. Jude. Good practice for me though, and it’s a good cause for us to get the word out about.
Hermana, so glad to hear you got to interview Luis Fonsi tambien 🙂 Como siempre ando de hablador, I just submitted my own questions. On a side note, today I actually got the chance to visit St. Jude’s orthopedic hospital in the Texas Medical Center and heard from a lot of parents and kids from Mexico who have all been receiving world class medical treatment for years from St. Jude. Their testimonies and cuentos were so humbling and inspirational, that they made this interview that much more personal and valuable to me. Can’t wait to see your convo with the boricua. Abrazos, Tracy!
How great that you actually got to visit some of the children in person! I’m sure they were just as happy to see you as they are to see Luis Fonsi 😉 jajaja 🙂
Nombre, Tracy! I was there on assignment for something else completely unrelated to El Fonsi, but that had everything to do with St. Jude. It was really great to see all the kids, and no, they weren’t as excited to see me, lol
I have a lot of questions
