“We present the Migrant Anthem, performed by the collective Legado de Grandeza. For it being their day, we have prepared this gift with all our hearts for our fellow countrymen and countrywomen on the other side of the border.” That is the official description published by the Mexican government of President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo this week with the release of this new anthem for migrants, or expats that was just released.
Spoiler alert. Si eres chillón like someone I know, you may want to grab a few tissues before you hit play. Either way, I definitely do think it’s hard to get through this video without feeling something pretty special.
